Nutmeg (Jayfol)

Nutmeg, commonly known as Jayfol, is a warm and aromatic spice with a slightly sweet, distinctive flavour. It is commonly used in South Asian cooking to add depth and fragrance to different dishes.

A small amount can be used in biryani, curry, meat dishes, desserts and homemade spice blends. Whole nutmeg can also be grated when needed, helping retain its fresh aroma and flavour.
